Our Story

Back in 2009, Andi Rose, founder of Mountain Glow Candle Bar & Co., found herself in the middle of something unexpected: making candles from a wax candle kit that had been given to her as a birthday gift. What began as a casual adventure with candles being sold at handmade markets quickly turned into a curiosity and passion. The soothing art of creating candles, blending scents, and crafting something personal struck a chord. The idea of starting a candle-making business was born in that moment.

As much as she wanted to dive in headfirst, the timing wasn’t right. At the time, she was fully employed at New Belgium Brewing and immersed in other adventures both work and hobby related.

Fast forward to 2025, and the time was finally right. The stars aligned, and the potential of Mountain Glow Candle Co. was fully realized, right in the heart of Fort Collins’ historic Old Town, nestled in the charming Opera Galleria.

What started as a dream and a candle-making birthday gift became Fort Collins' premier candle-making bar. Mountain Glow Candle Co. is now a place where creativity shines, where locals and visitors alike can come together to pour their own candles, create unique scents, and take home a piece of handcrafted joy.

It’s been a long journey, but every step of the way has led to this moment—watching people light up with excitement as they craft their own custom creations. And the best part? It’s just the beginning.
